Standard documents (civil status certificates, criminal records, diplomas) are usually ready within a few working days. For urgent orders, multiple legalizations or rare languages we give you the exact turnaround in the quote.

No. You can send your documents online (scan or photo). Translations can be delivered electronically or by courier anywhere in Romania or abroad. Originals are only needed for certain procedures, which we explain in advance.

The apostille is used for Hague Convention countries and is a single formality. Consular legalization is used for other countries and involves several steps (including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy or consulate).

Yes. We are an international company and regularly help Romanians abroad obtain, translate and legalize Romanian documents without having to travel.

All documents are handled confidentially and in line with the GDPR. We use them only to provide the requested service and share them with third parties only as necessary (for example the notary or the authority issuing the apostille).

A certified translation carries the signature and stamp of a translator authorised by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. A notarized translation additionally includes a notary public's certificate legalising the translator's signature. The receiving institution will tell you which one it needs – if you are not sure, we will help you find out.

Yes. A scan or a clear photo is usually enough for the quote and for the translation itself. If the translation must be notarized or bound to the original, we will tell you exactly what to send.

No. The notary legalises the translator's signature, so your presence is not required. We take care of the notary visit.

No. Notarization confirms the translator's signature in Romania. For the document to be recognised in another country, an apostille (Hague Convention countries) or consular legalization may also be required.

Some countries require the apostille on the original, others on the notarized translation, and some on both. We check the receiving institution's requirements before we start.

It depends on the issuing authority and the type of document. Our quote includes a realistic turnaround, including express options where available.

The earlier, the better – especially for rare languages. For common languages we can often find an interpreter at short notice.
