A notarized translation (traducere legalizată) is a certified translation whose translator's signature has been legalised by a Romanian notary public. It is the form required by most Romanian authorities and by many institutions abroad.

Do I need to go to the notary in person?
No. The notary legalises the translator's signature, so your presence is not required. We take care of the notary visit.
Does notarization replace the apostille?
No. Notarization confirms the translator's signature in Romania. For the document to be recognised in another country, an apostille (Hague Convention countries) or consular legalization may also be required.
